As the first quarter of 2021 wraps up, Sensor Tower has provided a snapshot of the Match 3 gaming category's performance on iOS in Latin America. Here's a look at how the top 5 games in this genre fared during this period.

Candy Crush Saga by King showed resilience with revenues trending upwards, peaking at $189K in the last week of March. Downloads started at 61K in late December but experienced a gradual decrease to 44K by the end of March. Weekly active users hovered around the 600K mark, with a slight uptick to 601K in the last week.

Playrix's Gardenscapes also saw an increase in revenue, reaching a high of $125K towards the end of March. Downloads saw an initial spike in January to 63K but later declined to 30K. Active users remained fairly stable, with a peak of 362K mid-March before dropping to 316K.

Another Playrix title, Homescapes, had its revenue fluctuate, ending the quarter at around $93K. Download trends were similar to Gardenscapes, with a peak in January at 107K and later falling to 51K. Active users reached a high of 600K in early March before ending the quarter at 549K.

Project Makeover by Magic Tavern, Inc., despite being a newer entrant, showed consistent revenue around the $54K-$69K range. Downloads dramatically decreased from 288K in late December to 72K by the end of March. Active users started strong at 400K but saw a slight decrease, stabilizing near 393K.

Lastly, Candy Crush Soda Saga, another King title, maintained steady revenues, ending the quarter at $42K. Downloads saw a mid-quarter spike to 25K but returned to around 18K. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from 246K to 265K.
